Find your username.
You will use this to access both your online courses, your campus email and the GTCC Library databases.
Use the form at the right to generate your username. Remember it!

2. Log in to Moodle.
Moodle is the online home of every section at GTCC, not just online courses. There is a link to Moodle at the top right of this page, and near the top right of the GTCC home page.
You know your username. Your initial password is your date of birth in six digits. When you log in, you will be promped to change your password. Your new password must be at least six characters, and at least one of them must be a lower-case letter. Remember your password! You'll need it again.

Check your email.
Log into Titan Cruiser, your personal GTCC email.
There is a link to Titan Cruiser on the GTCC home page. You know your username. Once again, your initial password is your date of birth in six digits, and once agan you will be required to change it. Many students use the same password for Moodle and Titan Cruiser.
Once you are logged in, check your email to see if your instructor has sent an introductory email. You will need to check your Titan Cruiser email periodically to see if your instructor or classmates have contacted you. Be sure to log out when you finish.

Complete your online orientation.
Log back into Moodle. You will see you are enrolled in a course called eLearning Orientation. Click on it.
It would be most useful for you to complete this simple course, and many online instructors require that you do. The course is self-explanatory. When you have successfully completed it, save and print your Certificate of Completion.

Log into Pronto.
On your Moodle home page you will see the Pronto owl, a link to Pronto, our instant messaging service. Pronto will let you communicate with your instructors and classmates.
You must download and install the Pronto program on your computer, and create a Pronto account. It's best to choose the same userame as your GTCC username.

Begin your course.
You will be enrolled in your courses shortly before the semester begins, and then they will appear in Moodle. You must visit your online course and complete your orientation assignment within the first week.
